The US Japan military drill Keen Sword 21 is under way, with the goal of countering China and the China military and China navy. The USS Ronald Reagan teamed up with Japan's largest ship, the Kaga, to prepare for a Chinese invasion of the East China Sea islands Senkaku, or Diaoyu as they're known in China. It comes as the new Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga travels to Vietnam and Indonesia carrying on his predecessor Shinzo Abe's hardline approach to China. It also comes with words of support from US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Later this month, Japan and the US will join with Australia and India, an alliance known as the Quad, for the Malabar military drills. Who would win in a China vs Japan war?
